  20.   This is another PLIP device driver. PLIP means Parallel Line Internet
  21.   Protocol. Originally based upon the plip.device released by Oliver
  22.   Wagner and Michael Balzer, this version has been completely rewritten.

  26.    * Much more line security through system independent timeout handling
  27.  
  28.    * Option to ommit CRC checks
  29.  
  30.    * Much better configurable, especially with regard to slow systems
  31.  
  32.    * Major code cleanup, including the removal of assembler fragments,
  33.      globals, errors

  35.    * Several protocol stacks may use magPLIP simultaneously
